Project Overview

Play Adventure Parks was preparing to expand into other markets. With the opening of Play: CBUS right around the corner, the company was seeking a fresh website to accommodate the new location and be capable scaling when additional locations open in the future.

Concerned that users might find it difficult to find information specific to their location, we developed a solution that would serve different content to users based on their location. A user visiting the site from Cleveland, would automatically see location information for Play: CLE. A visitor in Columbus would see Play: CBUS.

Managing multiple locations and attractions had the potential to get complicated as more franchises open. So, we developed a centralized database of attractions, food menus and events that can then be assigned to each location. This eliminates the need to create and manage duplicate attractions. User can even filter attractions and menus by location, as well. This functionality was wrapped in a fun, modern design meant to evoke excitement through embedded videos and imagery.
